The game is very linear, so replayabilty is not so good. The only thing thats fun is playing with the phsyic engine but thats it. The characters are very bland and very still. Take an object and chuck it either to major characters and they won't respond. I also felt the game had lots of scripted parts like when Alyx says be careful when I dropped the monitor, she didn't even gaze at me but knew automatically to say what was scripted. The game is BEAUTIFUL and the shading effect is awesome, too bad that the game is too linear. The ragdoll is amazing, simply the best in any game I have played. I remember this moment when I shot a combine and he went down near an edge, but didn't fall so I kept shooting him and then his arm fell and was tangling, how awesome was that!!! then I shot the knee where he plummet to the bottom near the train tracks. The characters are way too scripted, and you can;t really hurt your own buddies or civilians, ex: take a chair and throw it at the couple in the building and you won't see any reaction just a response saying stop it etc...
