Need help banning people, help!!!!

Ive been runnin a Garry's mod server and im just so damn tired of idiots ruinin ur hard work and spammin. I was curious, how do i ban people?!? Ive been messin with it and i dont know how. I only know how to kick. I would so very greatly appreciate some help.

Maybe cause multiplayer is fun? And you get to show off your work...

Type status in your console,you'll see something like this

# 1 "some guy"
# 2 "some idiot"
# 3 "some girl"

If you want to ban the user "some idiot", just type banid 2 (or banid #2.. cant remember) in the console.
