Need help with follow freeman

I have just finished the fight with the striders. I'm in a bombed out building next to an "L" shaped street with barricades on each end. One has a crater in front of it with a tow truck crashed into it. I tried to get over the barricades but can't seem to find a way. I'm stuck with several squad members getting in my way all the time. I'm suposed to "go to the horse," but can't find a way out of the area. Any help will be welcomed.

Oh God, i remember that bit.

Go back to the platform where you fought the striders (with the RPG Ammo and doors) On one part of it there should be the top of a wall you can use to get to the horse.
