Need help with JB mod

I need help welding. When I use phys_gunautoweld 1, phys_gunattract 0 it RARELY welds when I stick them together, other times it just stays as a red little sticky ball.

When I try with phys_gunautoweld 0, phys_gunattract 1 its like a damn magnet. They wont come near eachother nomatter how hard to try.

I wana weld stuff together, somone help :frown:

Yeah it can be really annoying... the best way I've found is to use the attraction but not the auto welding, and as long as you are trying to weld two flat surfaces together, they attract and you can rotate the weld to wherever you want before letting go.

It doesn't work very well if the objects are irregularly shaped or otherwise weird, like, I tried welding a canister to a bedframe, it didn't work. Stick with flat surfaces.

What if you wanted to weld somthing to a car, eg: a canister to car?

That should work ok, unless the car has doors with constraints on them or something, then it might get weird. But I've never tried it, so there might be some other problem, who knows...

The only thing i have problems with in that mod is welding rag dolls to things, it hardly ever works and I hope it's made easier in future versions of the mod
