New BLACK screens - New level!

Sorry for double post but the real official release date for BLACK will be 28th February 2006!

Also a quote from Gamespot regarding the story, though not much to hyped up about.

"Join the world’s most brutal and enigmatic strike force. The BLACK tactical squad operates under the cloak of complete anonymity and deniability to protect the US from threats foreign and domestic. It answers to no one, allowing it to carry out brutal and overt operations around the globe. From manipulating politicians to controlling intelligence networks and militaries, BLACK operatives are trained at the highest level in psychological warfare, espionage, and lethal arts. Go deep into the world of clandestine warfare as you use any means necessary to get the job done."

Those new vids look pretty cool, but a little boring really. Not all that much action on this level I guess. From the other screenies, it looks like there'll be plenty more action on other levels, so that is reassuring.

Framerate looks a little iffy in parts too, but hopefully that will be smoothed out in the next 2.5 months. :)

Otherwise, graphics look terrific for curent-gen systems. Way to go devs!

This is the coolest weapon design i've ever seen. Look how awsome the guns look man. They actually look like you can take someone's head clean off.

This is the same as with Killzone, screenshots looked wonderfull, the game did not.

Gamespot got a new developer interview up on their site, although it's ****ed up so about 10 minutes into the video the image and sound disappear.

Anyways, if you want to see it - http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/action/black/media.html

EDIT: That gameplay video was very good, nice quality as well. Thanks for the link, destrukt.

np loke; thanks for the developer link. ;)

Anybody know why those embedded videos never work for me? When I right click, then click "error details", it just says the file format is invalid! Grr.

It is only PS2 :p
seriously, people should watch the videos and realize how impressive this is for a console that's so old, especially since it's running at a very decent framerate
