Could you include an HTML anchor (with name attribute) or an id attribute which allows to skip straight to the news? E.g. for PHL I have bookmarked http://planethalflife.gamespy.com/#News , it would be cool if the same could be done with hl2.net.

That's a good idea.

Unfortunately as it is the only IDs the posts have are named after the post number. For example:

http://www.halflife2.net/#post-4605

You can use http://www.halflife2.net/#fragment-4 which brings you a bit more down the page.

Is this what you're talking about by the way? I'm a bit confused because like is it that hard to scroll down to the news? It's like one scroll.
