If you look at the lower left abdomin of the bird you can infact see that gabe newells face is engraved into...meaning only one thing...gabe newell is gordon freeman...

Actually if you look really carefully at the upper most Combine guard's eye you can see "THE ANSWER IS THE FLOWER" in very tiny Japanese script. Then if you magnify the navigation bar by 45,000%, you can just make out a sunflower with the G-man's face at the centre.

...anyway. Did I miss something? Where the hell did this site originate from? Gabe likes us and sent a screengrab while laughing insanely? Or did Munro grab it off a page that was very briefly up?

But the reason why I don't check frontpage anymore is because normally news is found first on the forum, and if it's valid, later found on the frontpage.

They typed a special URL in all by themselves that led to a secret place with green sugar trees, gingerbread houses and the official HL2 site. It also had some strange pictures of what looked like several valve team members prancing around in pink underwear accompanied by halflife2.net staff, chanting. But I won’t go into that.

bah.. without telling the actual address, can you tell me if it's either at valvesoftware.com/hl2/, half-life2.sierra.com or half-life2.com?
