New SOAD song!!! Album cover and info!

I ****ing love it.

Its a really good system song.
 
I love how it sounds so chaotic, then the chorus comes in and cleans and focuses everything, then its back to chaotic/angry.... Such an awesome song.

They were live in concert. They're called Holy Mountain and Kill Rock n' Roll.
 
Holy Mountain is like the epic version of Ariels. Kill Rock 'n Roll is catchy, and a great way to open the album (I think they said it would be the first track)

And the new single BYOB (does it stand for Bring Your Own Brain?) is amazing.
 
BYOB is the first song of the album. When they said first song off that album they meant the first song off their first album because that's what they played after Kill Rock n' Roll.

Lets not forget Cigaro, damn fine track as well, quirky and catchy
holy mountain is more a modern power ballad, and kill rock n' roll is just pure system crazyness..

I didn't like it. Their old stuff from the self-titled album was much better than this IMO. I used to be absolutely obsessed with that album. Know, Sugar, Suggestions, Soil, Peephole, PLUCK... such awesome songs. :p

I hope these turn out to be good (and they sound like they will) but if not then I have Nine Inch Nail's new album With Teeth on May 3rd...
 
OMFG, I just heard BYOB on teh radio today and nearly shat my pants! I <3 SOAD!!! I can't wait for their next album to come out.....
 
I have a bad feeling, as great as I'm sure both these new albums are going to be, i'm afraid they may be systems last... i mean two albums in one year.. these guys are getting older, I think they are about to release their masterpiece, tour for a few years and call it quits.. I surely hope not :( but at least they will leave us with some good tracks if they do :)
 
What makes you think that? There are plenty of old rockers out there, and System of a Down isn't exactly a band to conform to stereotypes. They'll do whatever they want.
 
System of a Down is one of my favorite bands. When I first heard it I swaer to god I shit my pants. It is such an amazing song. Now just the wait. I lovvvvve it! I love Darons scream at the beginning 'WHY DO THEY ALWAYS SEND POOR?!?!?!?!"
 
hmm, the vocals suck.

Lyrics are pretty naff as well.

hmm its SOAD so yet again, its rubbish. when they can play some good music and actually sing, i MAY listen to them.

god modern rock bands are so unbelievably shite...SOAD = perfect example
