Hi everyone,
In the wake of the Gold announcement (HELL YEAH!), I just wanted to take a moment to reflect on the past year or so I've been regularly visiting HL2.net.
It's been great coming here to see the latest news and media over the past year. The owners of this site have kept right on top of all the news as it's happened, and always been positive about the game and it's creators at all times.
Whilst I don't comment much in the forums, I have gotten to know a lot of you just by my constant reading of your messages.
However, soon the game will be in everyones grubby little mitts, and soon this little community will be overrun by hordes of new fans. Soon it won't be the quiet little site that people like me have come to know it as.
It's been nice knowing ya all.
Thanks to the owners of the site for doing such a great job.
And thanks the most to Valve, for making a game which will be here to stay for a very long time. Love ya work.
