Funny story
I first got to the top platform when fighting Nihilanth and his opened and there was a portal in it. i decided to jump into his head :x . I had to start the damn fight all over again (I nearly had him beat at that stage)

I was kind of a latecomer to HL, and being a total geek I actually went out and researched these things. So I almost always called the enemies by their proper names. One I never got, though, was:

Xen impaler thing - tapper

Funny, that's how I killed him: jumped onto his head and cleaned it out with the gluon gun. Hey, I'm a rocket scientist, not a doctor.
