no model shadows on terrain?

I have a bunch of models in my map and none and even models from cs will not give me shadows on my terrain... Anyone know why? ... only brushes give off the shadow on the terrain

Here's what I'm talking about... you see the brushbased wall is giving shadows off on to my terrain .. but then none of the models are giving shadows on the terrain.. anyone else have this problem?

um i assume you have a light_enviroment right? and those are prop_statics?

Hmmm... i dunno, the map looks nice though

Where is the light coming from? It looks ike it's almopst coming form straight above which would explain things...
