Ok, here goes...
I have a night of a million zombies map, its Sp. But without modifying it, I'm trying too get a bit of co-op action in it. (Is that possible?)
Well I'm trying to find out!
If you run HL2: DM, create a server with the map. Pause the game, click find server then click LAN Games. The NOAMZWF map will appear in the list!
Now....
Lets say I created a Hamachi network: ?????? pass: ??????
And Player B had the NOAMZWF map, connected to my network, started HL2: DM clicked LAN, blah blah...
Would it work? Would it connect? I mean, Hamachi creates a virtual LAN doesn't it?
Anyways if your not familiar with Hamachi you can get it here: www.hamachi.cc
I read about on the forums here that you have to pay for a server?!?!?!
I have a feeling that Hamachi might over come that! BUT, each network is restricted to 16 ppl. BUT there's no limit on how many networks you wish to create!!!
Also Hamachi has a instant chat feat. might come in handy!
If you do get Hamachi, and want too help me out on the NOAMZWF prob. or DM/TDM. i created a network
NET:COOP
Pass:COOP
What i do know is when i create a server i got to type sv_lan 0 into the console, Not a prob!
All i need is good communication from a willing participant!
*sniffs* i think i can smell a new type of Gaming(if it works)
Please help!
Thanks.
