EA is doing their version of a preload like Steam does! I wonder if this means Steams ideas are going to start being implimented?

Meh, I doubt that will EVER happen. Way too much stress on the servers..and it would be HELLA expensive to hold up. I think Steam is perfect..

I may buy Battlefield 2 now after all. This is good news if it works as well as steam does. It would be nice to have an equivalent of gaim for this kind of software (steam, vapour and now this) so I only need one single program, but IMO that is highly unlikely.

Lets just hope everybody builds their own so they don't have to buy to use EAs system. Online Distributors...bleh.
