I noticed that when i was playing HL2,almost in the very beginning when you go in the red train in the Route Kanal chapter, and that there is a vortigaunt and a civvy,the vortiguant was powering the TV and that it seemed that it was the G-Man on the screen....anyone else seen this?

yes, that is an old sighting, but whos knows why gman was on there

actually there is a g-man sighting in the level were there are 3 striders, don't remember where i saw that but it was never mentioned...
