Nova Prospect: What do I do?

Hey all,

I'm stuck in Nova Prospect. Here are some screenshots of where I am:

I'm guessing I need to get through one of the gates somehow. Also, I hear shooting in the background if that helps. I have just passed the kitchen (I think) and don't know what to do next. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go up into the big glass windowed room, and jump through the crack in the glass.

Yeah go back around and up the stairs. I was kinda stomped for a bit there too. The room is a mini control one and overlooks another room. The overlooking part of the room has all glass windows with bars - there is one window on the right part that is broken - Crouchjump, drop down.

Thanks. Couldn't see that hole. I hate getting stuck at the most obvious parts.
