nova prospekt freakish sounds

i just ran through Hl2 again, and i got to nova prospekt, where in the background, you can hear these inhuman-screaming sounds followed by some gunshots and an explosion. i have a recording of it right here:

to me, i believe that its stalkers screaming while being shot up to death, and some of the sounds sound like the combine death sound )

*note* the sounds may be quiet, you may have to turn it up a bit, and some of the sounds may be disturbing ;p

That's pretty damn cool. Makes you wonder what was going on elsewhere in Nove Prospekt... :O

That was relaly choppy so it was hard to get anything out of that, but I remember some of that sorta.

Really shows that Nove Prospekt was basically a torture chamber of sorts.
