Oblivion to be released in March.

It's official guys, an obscure Norwegian website has proclaimed it so!

Just kidding, I hope that's right.

old chinese proverb says: 'don't look up when pigs are flying'

That's what I have thought for a little while now, since EBGames has had it listed as March 21 (which doesn't necessarily mean anything of course). It should be looking pretty great by then, though I still hope they get it all fixed earlier. :E

So what was the reason it was prolonged again? The optimizations and such? Anyway, I can't wait for this, it's the only game I've been looking forward to, since well, september.

Sweet, this is the first RPG I've ever been interested in :)

Then both you guys have been missing out for a really long time.

Welcome to the light!

'Welcome to the suck' :E

I just know it's going to be one of those games that leeches my spare time away

No it's not, Oblivion is more like say roguelikes, and less of hack'n'slash, Oblivion is still, all about statistics, even in fights,i.e. your rating with a weapon still has a pretty large effect on wether you hit or not.
If you want a new Diablo, wait for Hellgate: London, made by the Diablo devs who jumped ship from Blizzard iirc.
Hellgate'll contain all the good things from DIablo 2(I.e. randomly generated levels and items etc)

Oblivion is not about the random generation, but it's all about a deep and detailed universe.
For example, there're whole "Bibles" out there covering the Elder Scrolls universe, and if you were to compress all that info togetherin one book, I bet you'd get atleast one thousand pages.:)

I'm all over Hellgate: London like a fly on a rotting corpse, a dozen supermodels asking to "sexor me up" couldn't stop me getting more information on Hellgate.

Never played any elder scroll games though, maybe I'll see if I can pick up mirrowind real cheap. :naughty:

it's on budget now. For around a years gameplay, a tenner is great value for money - you won't be disappointed :cheese:
Problem is, you won't even scratch the surface by the time ES4 is released.

A tip is to not buy the single Morrowind game, instead, buy the "gold" package that contain both the expansions, they do add alot to the gameplay.

cool I definitly must pick this one up since I loved Morrowind

I got Morrowind the week it came out here and I still play it unmodded.
