Office Complex

Just started replaying the Office Complex chapter. And the brilliant atmoshphere is still apparent after x amount of times played. I especially like the part where in the one office, the ceiling keeps collapsing to reveal numerous barnacles. The scientists mumbling and warning you, also add to the atmoshphere tremendously. This was one of my favourite HL chapters, alongside Surface tension.

Office Complex pwns, it has loads of atmosphere, and is the first real 'indoor complex' chapter, with tight corridors and loads of obstacles. I love it.

I can't wait to see what it looks like in Black Mesa.

I assume you mean BM: Source. Yeah, I'm curious about that too. Just hope they don't make to many changes to the overall atmoshphere.

EDIT: WGH was another awesome chapter, was an excellent prelude to "Blast Pit"

For me, the part of the game that creeped me out the most was "Apprehension." That chapter had the biggest effect on me.

Office Complex is usually where I stop playing. Before we had a Steam version where you could pick which chapter you wanted to play, I usually just went about selecting a new game and going from there. It would take me about an hour or so to get to the middle portion of the chapter, and then I find myself quitting after the meat freezer.

Now that I think about it, every time I play that chapter, I try and save as many scientists/security guards as possible, and then lock them up safely in the freezer.

Brilliant chapter. My faves however are most certainly Blast pit, Office Complex and Surface Tension. I don't think anthing in the Black Mesa mod however will top the originals

I don't get it. Do you mean BMesa's work won't alter your choices or what? I mean, considering the fact that the game is preserved underneath the new changes.

Nah, I usually enjoy to hit the scientists with the crowbar and then chase them .
