Hey rec that Link has nothing to do with his topic.... just a little FYI.

Is it the book from Prima you are speaking about? Its best to contact Prima at www.primagames.com. They still show it as "Coming Soon". Since they are the publisher you would probably get better info from them.

That link points to a thread discussing an apparent HL2 strategy guide (a German publication, however). The title of this thread is "Official HL2 Strategy Guide ??" followed by his question if anyone had bought one.

But if you read into the thread it is a "cut & Paste" job of articles and the such. Not a real publication, nor a strategy guide.

"yeah, thats what it is, just looked through it, definitely NOT a strategy guide, its just various info about the game and everything, it has the benchmarks and pictures form shader days as well as HDR tech info and stuff, so its somewhat new, but its not a strat guide."
