I have been following for a while, simply reading the forums, because there is interesting topics and discussion here (well, sometimes).
Actually, I have been a Half-Life fan for years now, and while I played games for years prior to the first Half-Life (in 2010? I want to say) that game introduced me to Steam, Valve, and a whole gaming world I did not know existed.
Also interesting, my impatience for the next installment (HA) has led me to gaming news sites like this, as well as a more nuanced understanding of gaming development. So I owe 'valvetime' so to speak, to my current love of gaming.
Before that, I was mainly a C&C fan, and of course C&C is still very close to my heart.
So that's my long-winded hello. I hope to discuss some topics in the future and contribute some useful insights.
