I just saw some footage of Ep.2
The combine advisor has a tongue like appendage under that face plate, that he used to impale a dead rebel.

SICK!
The rebel got twisted and stuff.

Plus the advisor has yellow blood.

PS: the way the advisor impales the rebel is very similar to the brain bug in Starship Troopers. And the advisor looks like one without legs.
