Whenever I use hammer my config never sets to HL2. I go to drop down and click HL2 configuration and click ok (can't apply because it's greyed out) then I went to try and make stuff and only the CS source stuff is there. Then I went back into configs and found it didn't switch to HL2 after all it stayed on CSS. Can anyone tell me how to get the config to stay set to half life 2 and not switch back to css.

theres an option in the box that pulls up for the sdk, you've gotta change to HL2 before you start hammer.

Nope still aint working sets to css by default. Screw it I'm removing the CSS config, I never map for it anyway.

I couldn't get it to switch to HL2 either... so I deleted the CS config.

Lo and behold, deleting the CS config worked and now I can map. Thx for trying to help gusolson.
