ONLY GMOD?! anything similar?

I have problems with GMOD so i am turning to you guys!

Is there another mod out there that does not require steam and you can use it to set up rag dolls and adjust face looks and stuff like that? Is there only GMOD??

I know there is something called source SDK but where to download it from?!

(FYI, i do have an authentic copy of half life 2, i just need something to edit it with without STEAM!!!)

Steam caused so many problems on my comp, its unbeleivable!

So avp216 (if you're still around), try this:

Try deleting your Clientregistry.blob :
Exit Steam. Delete the clientregistry.blob in the main Steam folder and the platform.gcf file in the Steamapps folder. But make a backup of them first by copying them in another folder! Now restart Steam.

You can't have a legit version of Half-Life 2 without Steam installed. Fact.
You can't play a legit version of Half-Life 2 without Steam running. Fact.

If you play Half-Life 2 without Steam you do not own a legitimate copy. If that is the case and you paid money for it you were ripped off.

In any case unless you have some wacky system config I doubt Steam would cause any problems to begin with, it has come a long way since its initial release.

THANKS BEERDUDE!!!! GMOD IS WORKING AND STEAM IS WORKING!! It appears to be the config file! I reinstalled Steam and reinstalled Half life 2 and they worked!!

Gmod is Amzing!! Thanks for your help, But no thanks to the guy who kept on accusing me of a pirated copy!
