With the Oscar's coming up, what do you think about the premise of the awards? How can people judge an art form? How can you say someone was a better actor than someone else? I am reminded of Marlon Brando and George C Scott (Patton) snubbing the awards, calling it a parade. I find myself in agreement, it is just more publicity for a publicity soaked industry. What do you guys think?
Feel free to discuss oscar picks, snubs (Paul Giamatti from sideways, Micheal Moore and Farenheit 911, and Mel and the Passion seem to be the big surprises), or the event as a whole.

I think some yeard they shoud not have them, such bad movies last year.

I think it's ok. Afterall, you don't have to watch them.

I hate award thingys, I mean who gives a shit? I don't care if some twat gets a reward for being "so great" :P, why don't they show the novel prize been given out and stuff like that? Im fed up of mindless celebrities
