How often does steam save your non-steam-games in the list? Seriously!? I was so excited about this feature when i saw it in beta and couldn't wait to try the beta! When i finally got it I thought it was awesome that the steam community worked on top of most games. However in beta it would save the non-steam games in my games list very often, i figured it would be fixed before the beta ended. Disappointment- I still get this problem, Im tired of re-adding the games to the list so now, for me, its a useless feature. How many other got this as well?

Just put them on your desktop, they will run a whole lot easier without steam running in the background anyway.

I run steam in the background with every game and it doesnt budge it a bit, hell i ran the crysis demo out of steam and it ran just fine on high settings, so its really not an issue. I've had to put a lot of stuff back on the desk top because this feature is so faulty.

My games are always in there....never seen one disappear...

some try closing steam, deleting their clientregistry.blog and restarting it and see if they stay then. I think that might be what got rid of mine ( however automatic updates will get rid of mine as well )

I'd have figured it'd be more annoying to even bother using steam for other games. Just don't use the feature, I can't fathom why anyone would want to bother with it.

For some reason it doesn't show that I'm playing the non-steam game when I'm in chat. It shows for a split second, but when it runs it tells I'm not playing a game. :(, That also means the overlay doesn't work ingame.

I dont use the feature any more, it was a nice thought... if it worked for me. The only time I'll use it now is if Im talking to some one over steam and i want to play a game and still talk to them then I'll browse it and run it, but it never stays for long.
