The words of a homophobic North Carolina preacher are reverberating around the Internet today, following a sermon in which he advocated physically assaulting toddlers with "limp wrists."

Sean Harris, the senior pastor at Berean Baptist Church in Fayetteville, is a strong supporter of North Carolina's proposed antigay Amendment One. In Sunday's sermon, Harris screams like a maniac about cracking limp wrists and punching young children who exhibit gender-variant behavior. Girls playing sports are OK, but they must attempt to look pretty, according to Harris.

I like how he thinks he's the one who gets to "authorize" parents to beat their children. "I just gave you special dispensation this morning to do that" lol.
 
I hope this guy gets some weird dermatological disease. That's basically all I can do about this. Just hope....

Apparently he retracted his words and said "I did not say anything to intentionally offend anyone in the LGBT community."

“I apologize to anyone I have unintentionally offended,” Sean Harris, pastor of Berean Baptist Church wrote in a statement on his church’s website. “I did not say anything to intentionally offend anyone in the LGBT community.
“My intent was to communicate the truth of the Word of God concerning marriage,” the statement continued. “My words were not scripted. It is unfortunate I was not more careful and deliberate.”

He also says the response to his tirade from within his church was "Pastor, we know you didn't mean that".

What a cockbag. Of course he intended to offend gay people, he just didn't intend to become notorious for it. What a douche. I really hope Amendment 1 doesn't pass this week (an amendment to the NC constitution that would legally define marriage as between a man and a woman). It's been a contentious issue here in NC for the past few months.
 
So... you should punch gay people, but not offend them? God's word is indeed mysterious.

Ironically he gets AIDS. Obviosuly you don't need to be Gay to contract it, but people like that obviously wouldn't know either way.
