Patch to brighten multiplayer uniforms?

Hi there,

Can someone please help a veteran of online gaming, but a newbie to HL2? I once used a patch in Quake 2 CTF (capture the flag) in which it made the teams uniforms "bright" to make it easier to recognize friend from foe. Is there such a patch for Half Life 2? I find it difficult to quickly see who to shoot, just from the "slightly different" uniforms, and I always end-up quickly dead from fear of shooting my own team.

Please help, it would make a world of difference!

Very likely no, because skins like that quickly delve into the realm of hacks (because it's very easy to see a super-bright red/blue character, which can give you an unfair advantage).

If it's a big problem, you can play on non-friendly fire servers.
