PC Gamer: HL2 96%!!... but Doom3 94%

Maybe they are too afraid to be the first one to diss popular games.....

First review for Doom3 turned out to be higher than it's true worth...Excellent graphics alone was enough to get that score from the reviewer...


For HL2.... review gave 96%!! GREAT!!!...
What is more great is that all his praises are around the amazing gameplay and great game experience!!!

I will take gameplay any day over graphics!!!!

In the end the reviews are just pathfinders, I've played games that got huge scores (the Sims 2), but I wouldn't give them anything higher than a 75 (same thing with Doom 3) and other games got rather low scores, but I love them to death (MOnkey Island series).

i loved doom3 (once)..
it was an "experience" for me..

I actually found DooM 3 to be a fun game, I suppose if you were entertained by the original (just mindless enemy blasting) you'd be entertained by DooM 3 as well.

When you put in % you dont have to say its out of 100 as it sort of gives by itself, and if ppl dont get it they wont understand anything else u say so f em
