So what peeves you guys the most in your average pubby?

Personally there's two major flaws I deal with everytime I fly in a heli with the average joe (or should I say, idiot):

1. Spewing Machine Gun at Tank / APC - Does about as much damage as throwing ice cream at it, but worst of all it gives away my element of surprise when I try to sneak up on said vehicle. :flame:

2. Gunner starts firing machine gun immediately at Heli after first TV miss - This isn't a problem if the pilot notices right away, but when they don't at least give me an opportunity for me to unload my volley of missiles (or wait for your TV to reload for a second go), chances are I'll at least get it half health or smoking (if not outright dead) ... spewing machine gun from a distance just removes the element of surprise and creates an aerial manuevre nightmare. :flame:

So much of this game is built on the element of surprise, yet the general public loves to throw it all away.

Snipers.

Somebody needs to slap those bitches in the face.

They're the most unbalanced class of them all. They have the IDEAL element of surprise, are armed to the teath, and basically leave a trail of death when they move.

Example: Just the other night, me and my friend were going sniper on Oman, and just as a tank rounded the corner into this little grassy square, I dove into the grass, right infront of it. Now, he pulls up right next to me (right next to as in "ooh, lemme feel your treads") and doesn't notice me.

Again, same round, I run from a tank, dive into this dark little grass patch, and this tank is looking right at me (FRICKING RIGHT AT ME), nose down, everything, like he's going to blast me. I stay still, he doesn't notice me (thank you guilly suit). My friend spawns on me, and I bark into my mic "DON'T MOVE!"

We watch for a while, and I unload my entire store of grenades into this thing, and he moves, thinking he's getting shot. As he moves, an APC pulls right infront of us, same drill. APC moves tank comes back, looks at us again, and doesn't notice us. My friend runs up, jumps on the back of the tank, starts dancing around in circles ontop of its turret, then dives back into our hideout.

I mean for christ sakes, if the guy knows how to hide, he'll be nearly impossible to spot.

Just today, I was playing against an entire team of snipers, and I tell you it's impossible. They've got it fricking made!

Lay Claymore around every entrance to every alley on the map, run around, spam grenades at whatever you don't see, and bam. You've got a billion kills (or deaths if you're me ).

If you spot a sniper in the open, and he also spots you, your only hope is that he might not know what he's doing. Anybody with half a brain will laydown, take a shot, and run around your corpse in circles like a tourguide named Paco.

I swear to mother****ing god the class needs to be nerfed! I blew up a helo the other day with my M29 (no, didn't kill the driver, I shot a smoking helo five times in the tail and it exploded).

Guys who get in transport choppers and take off empty while 6 people are running towards it. Then they try and land and somehow end up upside down.

#the most annoying tactic of all - getting in the gunner seat of a chopper only for the ass in the pilot's seat to fly you out of bounds killing you so he can chopper alone :flame:

#idiots who use the chaingun instead of the tv missiles

#My number one peeve of all - piloting a bomber and setting up the copilot for LGM kills which he ignores but while flying any other time proceeds to fire off his missiles pointlessly :flame:

#And as Bliink said - idiots who drive off without picking up anyone especially when that may be the only method of transport


The game is excellent - The people are stupid

Arty. ARTY. I just hate it. The actual sound of the shells coming in and exploding makes me cringe. It's just SO ANNOYING. :angry:

Oblivious squad members. If you're going to be a medic, do your f*cking job! I go absolutely apeshit when I have to jump around infront of a medic yelling "I need a medic!", and the guy still ignores me.

Idiot Commanders. Stay on the ground. Give orders to squads. Give supplies and arty assistance to squads.

+ Arty... why am I the only one to ever die when there's a strike? ITS ALWAYS ME!

I can name 5 instances today where I was the only person killed by an arty strike.

Right now my posse is confined to HolyWTF, a few friends of his, and Cyberpitz on the weekends.

I remember back when we used to play with Mr. Redundant and Amishslayer.

I miss redundant. He seems to only poke his head around when he wants to.

Wonder how his relationship with his lady friend is going.
