All there map shots and models have looked quite professional, but once I saw that video... ew.

Hopefully the coder cleans it up because that video makes it look like HL2 with some model replacements.

are u kidding? this mod, especially from that movie, looks the LEAST like hl2 out of all the mods ive seen lately. for being nowhere near complete, what they have done so far looks amazing. its fairly obvious they werent trying to show off the graphical aspect of the game yet, thats what screens are for. i personally cant wait for this to come out, especially after goldeneye source was such a huge let down. felt nothing like good old g64. the weapons were clunky and so was the gameplay..nothing fluid about it.

In fact, they were mostly the same. The main difference was that PD's guns has alternate firing and more weapons in general.

They both have you running around a map, with weapons, killing eachother.

They state that they are 90% complete.

And I HATE the angle that all those screens were taken at.

Different guns, advanced lighting (Goldeneye had no lights that you could turn off/on or different viewing modes for seeing in the dark), advanced weaponry (the slayer and farsight spring to mind), first-person reload animations, advanced single-player AI, bots, new multiplayer modes... I'm sure there's more.

Just to keep you informed:

February, the shortest month yet not the less productive!

The last 18th of February, took place the "Mods Party". In its 3rd edition, that small get together organized by the team at Pmods gave a chance to different modification developers to show off the progression of their work and to talk with other developers. A few of our developers were there and based on what they told us, the party was really interesting and they met sympathetic people. The organizers of the event revealed the winners of the award voting system they had set up on their website: the "Perfect-Dark: Source" mod ended up as the 5th best mod, the 3rd best FPS mod and the 3rd best French mod! A big thank you to everyone who participated!
