Platinum version?

Hey

I am thinking about buying god of war, but then at the website I saw that it was a platinum version and I wondered, what is the difference between a normal version and a platinum version?

I also saw that the normal version costs over half as much as the platinum version, so I wondered if the platinum might be "worse" in some way?(Although the normal version was shipped from england and the platinum version was shipped from the country i live in.(Denmark))

No, a game gets platinum if it has sold a set number of units, for the rest the game is totally the same.
The reason they do this is cause there is a big market worth for consumers who aren't willing to dish out 60/70 euro's, but are willling to dish out 20,- thats why god of war has stayed in the top 10 selling position for so long.
