I have done a search and come up with a lot of things, but not an answer.

My question is this... is there a command that increases the overall player speed when I'm a server, similar to what "sv_maxspeed xxx" did in the original HL? I've waded through online guides and a full cvar list and missed it if there is one. Gratefull for any (constructive) input, thank you.

Try the find function in console and search for speed like this: find speed - Then everything with the word speed in it will be listed with it's explanation and functionality.

Dude, did you read my post?

I used the "find" function, with a variety of combinations. Thanks for pointing out the obvious though.

Any useful replies?

Ok, sorry for thinking that "I have done a search" could mean that you have only searched with for example Google to find the answer and thinking that maybe the find-function could help you out..

I'll try pointing out the obvious next time I see you post also, no problem.

First off, let me apologize for snapping at you. You were trying to be helpful and I took it the wrong way. I'd had a rough day and have been the recipient of too many replies basically saying "the answer is... SEARCH @#%&*$$!" (when I already stated I had done so), that I just jumped to conclusions and took it out on you. I am sorry.

Secondly, I'm still looking for input on this subject. I have done a little more digging on other forums and with google and still come up with nothing. However there has to be a command controlling player and NPC speed some where, they don't just move around at whatever speed they choose. Soo, if anyone has any insight, again I am still looking for any leads on this topic and would appreciate any help sent my way. Thanks ahead of time.
