Playin with the Super Gravity Gun...

I cheated and grabbed the super grav gun and played the whole game with it. Lots of cool stuff! Like grabbing pigeons and crows out of the air... And, when you "grab" a "friendly", it sucks a clone out of them and leaves the original unchanged...

But the funniest thing...I absolutely scared the crap out of myself in Ravenholm. I was squeezing the "grab" button in front of a dark alley, and it sucked one of those freaky black zombies that throw poison headcrabs. The thing came flying at me so fast, it scared the living bee-jeezus out of me. I literally threw the mouse and jumped up out of my chair. Felt like a dumbass!

One hint... If you play with this gun. Don't grab your dune-buggy, or the enemies armored vehicles. It will put your puter in a brain freeze!

Its WEAPON_PHYSCANNON

But to get it, you have to do this:

1. enable cheats (SV_CHEATS 1)
2. MAP D3_CITADEL_03
3. wait for the "confiscation" sequence to play out, and then grab the super grav gun
4. CHANGELEVEL d1_TRAINSTATION_01
5. GIVE WEAPON_PHYSCANNON

It's a fun toy, but watch out when you aim it into dark alleys!!!

This was probably the only game i beat without cheating in...that statement includes half life 1, i never BEAT the game, i just spipped from one load point to another..cause it was like a Maze.

Either way..im proud of beating this game

Me too!

I played all the way through on easy, and then difficult without cheating. I didn't even enable the console until I had "completed" the game first. That's the way I play every game.

But after I finish the game striaght, I cheat my ass off!!! Explore every nook and cranny, try to find easter eggs, try to find "alternate" ways to complete levels, etc... It's just how I try to get the most out of my gaming dollar!
