ok, so I am at the black mesa east level, I get scanned and follow whats her name to the elevator, the elevator opens i get in and nothing happens am I suppose to press something or is my game freezing, i can still walk around shoot but the damn elevator wont go anywhere. if someone can help that would be great.

This bug is known to occur in EMPORiO versions of Half-life 2. The latest updates should have fixed the problem. Make sure you have a legit copy of the game. To get past this problem you can just skip to the next level by using a certain console command.
