I actually preordered my today (at EB of course), and just out of curiosity I asked them when I can come and pick it up. The guy said Sept 2, I left the store laughing uncontrollably

I'll preorder CE after I know what is included with it, if it's a shirt or a key ring, then there's no point to pay an extra $20, but if it's a version of HL:S, and if HL:S won't be released on Steam, then I'll pay the extra $20.

I believe Valve should give us HL:S in the standard edition just to say sorry for giving us so many false release dates (I say this because I cannot afford the CE).
