Problem after buying game

I purchased halflife 2 (3rd copy)and never ran into this before,After installing it and registering it,when I go to,games halflife 2,and then were the launch button is it says purchase ,when i click that it takes me to a page were i can buy Deathmatch.I bought the game of the year adition why is it doing this?its suposed to be halflife 2,Dm,and css.thanks for any help

First things, your third copy? :O

Why do you need a third copy, when all copies are tied to your Steam account? Just use your account with them on!

Anywho, go to the Steam page, Games on the drop down menu and Activate Product and follow the instructions

Thanks but i beleave I did that but will try again,the reason for three copys is we have three different comps running the game at the same time me and two of my kids

Though as long as you aren't all playing at the same time you can just use the same account on the different PC's (if i'm not mistaken that is)
