Problem in Route Canal

Hi, I am in route canal, in the tunnel where the baricade is in front of me and I can see a man sitting on a ledge and he says just said "get in here". Hope that helps people know where i am stuck. I try to bash down the planks of wood that are blocking my path but they are invincible and can't be destroyed. I'm stuck here please help!

Cant u just go around some wall? TRy a screenshot it always helps

Sorry im playing this on the xbox version. No the barricade encompasses the entire wall. Don't see how to get past

You should be able to break the planks of wood. All i can sugest is to restart that level.

Smash them open with your crowbar?
