Problems with end of Sandtraps, please help!

After bumbling around for about two hours, and then after that going through some walkthroughs, I'm at the end of my rope.

I'm having issues getting past the part with all the thumpers and turrets. This is right after the part where you get handed the pheromone pod.

All of the walkthroughs I've read mention a passage that you take into the mountain that has a red light at the end. I see this passage. The problem is that it is blocked so as to be impassable by what looks like a cave-in, a bunch of cement and rebar all over the place. This cave-in is not mentioned in any of the guides, and I cannot get past it.

Nothing is movable with the gravity gun. I've tried grenades. I've tried and tried to get past this mess crouching, jumping, sprinting, etc. Nothing seems to work.

Let me know if screenshots are needed. Basically where I'm at is this area where there's this circular pit in the ground, on one side of it is a Combine turret, and on the other side is the entrance into the mountain with the red light at the end of the tunnel (the cave-in is in between).
