prop_door_rotating

The problem is that no matter how i change the hinge axis the door always rotates at the origin no matter what in game. I cant seem to figure this one out except that some models might not work with this entity?
 
That's correct. Very, very few models work with prop_door_rotating.
 
Well can i ghetto rig it with a prop dynamic parented to a non solid func_door.

Actualy that would probably be not so good resource wise.
 
eh? there's a door model in props_c17 called door_left (or something like that). use that, it works fine, it's simple, and it's what valve used. it also has multiple skins
 
yeah i know but i wanted to use one of the dod doors. ill probably just end up using thoes though.
