props not showing up

Yo, why is it that sometimes my prop_physics will work and sometimes in different situations it wont? at first I thought it was because I had it spawn over a displacement terrain so i placed it over a world brush... no worky. Ive used the same model, one of the wooden crates, in different maps with the same settings and it works. Sometimes ill put a prop somewhere and it will work but be invisible. Help? thanx a ton

I'd bet this is being caused by accidentally clicking the little circle in the middle of the model's rectangle on the grid. That messes up the distance at which the prop is visible, and usually makes the distance so small that the prop is constantly invisible.

Double click on the prop and change the min/max fade distances to -1 and 0, respectively, to fix it.
