Loved the first release but I didn't stay with it long.
 
Awesome the first one was amazing and now with all the new features and improvements this should be fantastic.
 
God dammit, and I'm about to grab Sins of a Solar Empire too. I demand more hours in a day...
 
looks like a ton of fun, I still occasionally play the last beta, it's amazingly addictive
 
lol looks fun. i played the 1.1 for awhile then lost interest. lol at the parrot.
 
I woke up at 11:50 (snow day) and PVK was released 10 minutes later. Double came.
 
just finished downloading and installing now, triple came.

well my quick impressions...
The map changes are new maps are great

classes are good captain's special is kinda useless imo but, the peg-leg and parrot makes him great. Archers are cool if you're quick at aiming and stuff, archer special is a barrage of arrows shot in one direction at the same time, works like the skirmishers lunge attack. and the huscarl is a joke, man Vikings are always the shitty class imo he has throwing axes a big axe and a sword and shield, his special is some shield ramming that sends opponents flying in the opposite direction like up to 30 feet back.

In 1.1 I am an avid "douche" crouch+jump+blocker as many would put it but, I understand and know how to handle the battle system. This new system in 2.0 is great so far, you have a charge bar that determines how hard you strike; hold left click then release when ready to attack but, if you hold too long the bar loses power. I notice jumping is higher and also enables the player to perform bunnyhoppish type jumps easier. The blocking is shit imo. I find myself blocking an attack and it feels like the system rewards the attacker to keep cornering me as they hardly get stunned in a block - perfect blocks are hard to perform which is supposed to allow you to counterattack(I guess I just need to play more). I like the old way of blocking, just block and the opponent gets stunned rather having hold down the block key and then time the move keys in a direction it says to press as soon as the opponents weapon hits your defensive shield sword or whatever, I find myself not having enough time to do that type of crap when there's like 20 enemies around you at all times. Player movements seem a bit sluggish and I swear the skirmishers run speed is no longer as quick and fast as it used to be as berserkers and heavy knights can catch up to them easily but, that might just be me. I seriously think in the next patch this jumping issue needs to be looked at because I found myself jumping around enemies and hitting them with my sword at their ankles or heads and backs, quite easy to pull off too.. The power of hits is kind of off as well, the quick strikes(Atleast for the skirms) need a little more power to em. I hit an enemy on "almost pushing the daisys"(which is really close to death) and it takes me like 4 quickstrikes to kill the opponent
