I've searched several times on these forums and the Mani forums, and by following the instructions that came with the "Quake Sound Pack" on the Mani homepage, I thought I had it aced. Apparently, not.
My common sense told me that since it is an admin plugin, I'd need to host a game to hear the sounds on my end. I extracted the sound pack to hl2mp so the config files went in the config folder and so forth.
I grabbed the actual mani_admin_plugin_V1.1.0zh and took the mani_server.cfg file from it because the readme in the quake_sound_pack.rar mentioned it but didn't contain it. I put in the "exec mani_quake_sounds.cfg" command in it, saved it. The sounds don't work. I have the quake sounds in hl2mp\sound\quake.
Can someone please tell me what I'm missing? A step-by-step guide?
Thanks,
Jeremy
