Asus Newbie Joined Aug 22, 2003 Messages 10,346 Reaction score 0 Nov 21, 2004 #2 HL2 is pretty dependant on CPU performance too. Maybe your CPU is limiting and by using AA/AF your gfx card can do more work when it would have been idle while your CPU is busy thinking. Otherwise, I dunno.
