Ok, if I get the Half-Life 2 non-CE version, will I be able to download the HL1 Source version for free? Will mods like DoD2 be free or will I have to pay for them? :monkee:

HL:S will be free, nothing is known on DoD2. HL:S will probably be available with the regular HL2 version, or as a free download from Steam.

Snoogins, no reason for me to buy CE version now.

I read the CE version would come with Hammer tools and HL:S prepackaged, along with other stuff, but if I can just download HL:S...

Don't take my word for it though, hopefully, VALVe will release info on the CE soon.

They need to. How are we supposed to know to pre-order the CE over the regular version if they don't tell us whats in it?
