Question for HL2

I was wondering, they're makin HL2, they're remakin CS n DoD. Will they be remaking Opposing Force? And or Making Opposing Force 2? Where we use the Combine Police or Combine Military? or Still usin Recon tracin Freeman down? :cheese:

We havent heard anything about Opposing Force being remade, or a sequel... and for the second part I have NO idea what you just said

I think there was already a discussion about this and it came to the conclusion that it's unlikely we will see "opposing force" or "blue shift" 2/source, because those were made by Gearbox.
Aafaik their plot develops alongside HL's, which means they're no essential Part of the universe and i don't even know if their script was written by marc laidraw.
I think it really depends on his visions for the HL universe, if we get so see Shepard again. But maybe we can hope for some fan made remake.

Well, I'm almost certain they're porting OP4 and BS to Source, at least, and they'll most likely be making expansion packs for HL2. I'd personally like to see what happened to Shepherd, even if he only makes a cameo in HL2 (I'd prefer it if he had his own expansion pack, though).

well, i don't think shepard is interesting anymore in the context of hl2...he was a commando with the mission to kll everyone in the lambda complex, but yeah, the aliens have escaped out of the lambda complex, so his role is played......i want a g-man campaign!!!! :farmer:

Well, Shepherd was left with a bit of a cliffhanger ending as well... I reckon an expansion pack for him'd be good, as then the Shepherd-haters don't have to worry abut him and (probably) won't complain...
