Would you live a day less if that ment everyone else could live a day longer?

only if it were a family member ..the rest of you can die a day earlier

Yes.

The way I see it one day less isn't much taken out of my life, but an extra day for everyone on earth is over 18 million years worth in total

i voted yes, everyone but stern ;)

Here's a more interesting question, could you kill one billion strangers to save your family and yourselves?

Question is, would people agree with me living a day less so they could gain one more?

If so then, yeah and if not then, no.

you'll give me your day ..or else <shakes fist> ..in fact my goal is to collect enough to live to 150 ..so hand over a day in your life, or you'll get to meet my two friends:

As long as they spent that day researching a way to resurrect me, then sure!

I think a better question would be would you kill someone to save 2 people?

Hell no, that's my day. I plan to use it well. Probably sleeping and playing video games for most of it. Maybe watching a movie. But what the hell would you all do with it? Waste it, I presume.

Sorry, but the majority of people I've met in my time don't deserve an extra day. In fact, they should die now and save the rainforests.

Harsh? Maybe... True? Most definitely!

hmmm what if someone thinks that way about you? suicide to save the rainforest seems like a fair trade ..I hear hanging is relatively painless

Perfectly acceptable, to be honest. I don't sit on a high horse thinking everyone loves me. I am glad they don't, far less pressure.

And, if my death helps out someone who truly needs it, then... it all equals out. It's called being an organ donor.

I'm not selfish, despite what my post makes me sound....I'm just realistic.

ok .....so can I have your day? you dont need it

Why should it be you? What makes you more needy than someone who is waiting for their son or daughter to arrive at their bedside, but he/she has been held up due to travel delays in an airport far away? That person needs one more day, that's all they want--that one 24 hour period in which to face death with the ones they love. That's a far more noble cause to give my day to. I could give more examples, if you'd like.

You're missing my intent, and I'm not sure how to better verbalize it to you.

Giving up a day of your life isn't going to stop you from being an organ donor, you'll just live a day less for others(being THE ****ING WORLD)to live a day more.

I have a son and daughter ..what makes you think that wont be me ..and I dont know you but I'm probably bigger than you ..so give me your day ..or else

Sorry, two different thought trails merged... let me clarify:

I'd prefer to be an organ donor, knowing in the end, that if nothing else...someone theoretically gets a second crack at life.

Giving up one day of my own, to save humanity? I'm not Jesus Christ. Or whomever you want to believe did such things.

And, what would be gained out of the rest of humanity living one day more? Will they cure cancer in that one day? Will world peace suddenly erupt? Will happiness suddenly be infused into every person's very soul?

I doubt it.

Let's make a deal. If that's ever you, let me know. I would give my day immediately. Sincerely.

Otherwise, back the f*ck off my day. You'll have to pry it from my cold, dead hands. Oh. Wait. Damn.

Oh okay I get where you're coming from now.

Odd question... seems pointless to me, so NO! Also doesn't help that it's impossible!
