Can someone explain how to merge a combination of mesh and curve objects together? I have 3 meshes, with 1 curved mesh with their vertexes aligned closely to each other, so that when selecting all 4 objects and then using Create > Poly. Mesh > Merge, each nearby vertices should merge, giving me 1 new mesh from the combined 4.

The problem is that nothing happens at all, and I can't even find where I can change the tolerance level to see if perhaps the tolerance for the distance between vertices is smaller than the average distances of my own vertices.

Can anyone help me out here?

First make sure that the "immed" button is checked, this freezes things as soon as they're created. The tolerance level is on the screen that comes up when you choose to merge, I just set it up all the way for mine. And then when you're done it'll actually still have the old polys on top of the new ones, so select the polys and delete them until you've selected the entire new mesh. Let me know if you want me to take screens.

Heh thanks, by leaving Immed on, I noticed something important, I forgot to create a poly mesh out of one of the surface meshes, so thats why it wouldn't merge them, which also explains why the merge dialog didn't appear.

Thanks again
