What is Ragnarok Arena, most of you are probably asking.
Putting it simply, Ragnarok Arena is a sidescrolling shooter for the Source Engine. Two teams of men in oddly colored jumpsuits go running at each other with high powered weaponry to either A: Kill everyone, B: Kill a select group of people, or C: Steal a floppy disk.
So the concept isn't the most original thing on this planet, but I like to think the gameplay is unique enough. It's helped by the fact that it's simply a blast to play, as well. At the absolute minimum, it's a nice change from Oscar Mike.
So, what're the headlining features in the newest version of the mod?

- Seven completely reworked maps, rebuilt with the new camera and gameplay in mind
- Teamplay! Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag!
- Completely rebalanced weapons, and Powerups! Invincibility, speed, and more!
- You asked for them, we finally delivered. Reworked controls. Wave goodbye to the clunky movement controls of old, and introduce yourself to the ability to shoot and move in different directions.
- Ingame music, a new UI, and more!
