Raising the bar, limited?

i really want rasing the bar for christmas and i told my mom, but she isnt exactly the most computer savvy person i know. I was reading about raising the bar on this one site and it said only 50,000 copies. Now this freaked me out a bit does that mean that raising the bar is limited? or was that just the hardcover edition? I just want to make sure i get it.

The publisher has to set a limit for their print run. So in a sense it is limited, however, if all those sell out I'm sure they'll re-print the book.

You could check with Prima, the printers, to find out about availablity.

I've pre-ordered it in the UK, but they can't confirm a delivery date for me yet, just that my order has been placed

what is it?

its a book which talks about behind the scenes at Valve HQ and into the making of HL/HL2.
for alot pple its going to be quite an interesting read.

I went into Game today and they had one copy left. I asked and they said they only had a couple to begin with and didn't know if they'd be getting any more. Of course they could have been just trying to make sure I bought it, and if that's the case... it worked.
