Really annoying bug

Every time I'm outside in first person mode, the shield and the weapon start to twinkle. In other words, half the time they aren't visible. And when I fight something, they usually disappear altogether. This is really annoying and it's next to impossible in first person mode considering you can't see yout own weapons. When I'm inside everything is normal though... And another thing: I'm stuck in Oblivion with 1 health (one strike/arrow kills me) and there're no blood pools etc. nearby and I haven't saved from before. Please help!

For now you can create an unarmed fist fighting character until you figure out what to do.

About the insta-kill upon loading your save you can pause and type god

(i think thats the code) but entering god mode would work, but This is why I don't like the auto-save feature. Can you turn auto-save off? Anyhow, you should always have a few backup saves as you progress through the game. I've been totally stuck near the end of some games and had to start over!

PC or Xbox? glitches would make sense if this is pc ie hardware conflicts. Anyway if you've got the pc version go download the ANB health mod. Your health slowly regenerates over time which makes sense in reality i.e. healing wounds.

I'm on the PC version... but I started over from before I went into Oblivion, and now I'm dealing with a rat problem. Yeah, I think the twinkling is because of my computer, so it's not much to do there

Like it would matter. I myself got the collectors edition, but yeah I made a mini image and a proper image of the disc no problems. Works like a charm.

Ontopic: 512mb ouch time for an upgrade I think. Go the 9600 though, I'm still using my 9600 pro.

Yeah 9600 seems to cope with no problems. My mate's weaker comp&9600 matches if not outdoes my amd3400+&1GbRam&9800 SE, somehow.

And uh, yeah...little bird tells me that illegal copy works fine >.> (little bird also says he's gonna buy it when he gets a new graphics card, so calm down)
